Pornography Bill Concerning Filters on Cell Phones and Tablets

Pornography is a massive problem in this country. We do not want our kids to be exposed to it, and there are promising developments in the Alabama Legislature concerning this topic. There is a bill (HB 298) being put forward by Rep. Chris Sells (Greenville) that would require manufacturers of certain Internet-enabled devices to automatically activate existing filters on the devices to prevent users from accessing material harmful to minors, including pornography, without a device passcode, and would provide civil penalties for a violation. Pray that this bill passes and for our children to be protected from the evils of this world.
