Tobacco/Vaping

Overview

For decades, tobacco has been one of the leading causes of preventable disease and death in Alabama and across the United States. While cigarette use has declined, tobacco still claims thousands of lives each year and costs billions in healthcare expenses. ALCAP stands against the promotion and normalization of tobacco, advocating for policies that protect youth, support prevention, and remind our communities of the biblical call to steward our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit.

This page is designed to provide information and links to articles that speak to current moral issues facing our society. Please reference the original article (if available) when using quotes from these resources.
