Cracking Down on Child Pornography

House Bill 168, sponsored by State Rep. Matt Woods (Jasper) in the House and State Sen. April Weaver (Brierfield) in the Senate, widens Alabama’s already-existing prohibition of child pornography to include AI-generated images of child pornography. HB128, named the “Alabama Child Protection Act,” has passed the House and the Senate. Gov. Ivey signed the bill, and it is now law. To learn more about the bill, click here.
